Otmar has over 30 years experience in the hospitality, tourism, and supplier industry.
Working in five different countries, in owner managed and multinational organisations around Europe, gave him a multi cultural awareness for the business.
Otmar worked for the last 20 years in senior management and decison making positions.
He has the classic hospitality career, he studied restaurant & hotel management in his native Germany for 5 years.
Otmar has covered the 3-5* hotel market and the Michelin star restaurants. His areas of expertise are; F&B operation, purchasing, cost control and training. Presently he operates his own Hospitality Training & Consultancy Company. Otmar is since 2009 working with Failte Ireland in the Business Mentoring and Advisory Service. He has been reappointed for another two years as mentor & advisor for special skills.
Otmar’s training qualifications are; Craft trainer, group training techniques, trainer in the industry, train the trainer.

Here in Ireland he worked as a project consultant for Cuisine de France to head a new French product for the Irish hotel & catering market.
